Joy Switch

Atlanta, GA

August 19 & 20, 2022

Did you know there is a “switch” inside your brain that activates joy—the secret to healthy emotions and relationships. When the switch is off, we can’t be our best selves and we feel disconnected from others.

The good news is we don’t have to stay that way. Joy Switch events offer you a fun, engaging environment where you will explore what your Joy Switch is and practice exercises that will help you.

What Will I Gain at a Joy Switch Event?

The Joy Switch event is all about finding our relational sweet spot where we enjoy the comforting, interactive presence of Jesus, where we enjoy the people in our life, and where we are able to stay true to who God designed us to be, regardless of circumstances.

With practice, we can find confidence and security to stay calm and anchored when fears, hurts, trials and strain threaten to sink our relational ship. We can learn to have joy and thrive, even in the midst of hardship and loss.

This event combines neuroscience with theology for fun, interactive exercises designed to transform your life to a new normal of joy and peace. Learn how God wired your brain for joy and gain insight into the reason you struggle relationally. Practice activating your Joy Switch so you can better connect with others and learn how to:

  • Recognize when your Joy Switch is ON vs. OFF
  • Calm yourself when circumstances produce negative emotions
  • Stay connected with others, even during conflict and trials

WHAT ARE RELATIONAL SKILLS?

Relational skills are a set of brain-based abilities that are essential for developing healthy connections and sustaining relationships. Ideally, we learn important skills from our families beginning in infancy, but the reality is we all have gaps. Relational skills are the missing piece most of us are searching for to deepen our ability to stay steady through the ups and downs of life, expand our healing and reach new heights in our relationships. We can fill painful gaps by learning crucial relational skills our brain needs to sustain a rhythm of joy and peace. When we know how, we can gain new tools so we work more effectively, efficiently and joyfully.
