Kristy grew up going to church but didn’t give her life to Jesus until she was in High School. She quickly experienced a hunger to develop a deeper relationship with God and see genuine transformation in her life and in others. She attended UC Berkeley where she focused on growing in Jesus and also received a degree in Psychology. After college she attended training school to become a college minister, which included courses with Fuller Seminary. During this time she met her husband, Nik.
Nik and Kristy led a campus ministry in Seattle for years and then transitioned out of college ministry and into church ministry where Nik served as their church’s associate pastor. During this time Kristy focused on raising and homeschooling their four children. She also led the children’s ministry for several years and also worked alongside Nik as he led their church’s inner healing ministry.
Nik discovered THRIVEtoday in 2017 and attended the Thrive Premier Training Flex Track. The next year Kristy attended track 1 with him and the rest is history. As they learned about and developed relational skills, God put words to many things He has already been showing them about relational living, and they now had a clear pathway for growth and maturity.
Kristy joined the THRIVEtoday team in 2020 and now serves as Director of Operations. She loves spending time with Nik and being a mom to her 4 amazing children. She is also passionate about continuing to grow and spread relational skills and helping people experience a deeper relationship with Jesus.
