False “Godsight” may seem true to us at the moment but leads to blame, accusation, condemnation, gossip, resentment, and more. Learning to stop the “sark” is learning to see others through the eyes of heaven where people are more important than their malfunctions. Seeing life and relationships from God’s perspective keeps us connected in joy and peace.
VIDEO | Seeing some of what God sees (skill 13) is essential for forgiveness and to hold onto our peace. Focusing on pain and ruminating on the things which bothers us keeps us in Enemy Mode. Making the shift back to relational mode requires much-needed strength during times of difficulty. One of the best ways to find peace and stay connected is interacting with the Living God.
